Watermelon Ball — home

Everyone in the water

How we build this site so it works for every visitor, and how to tell us when it does not.

What we do

Every image has a written description. The site works with the keyboard alone, the buy buttons are real buttons that take focus, and the focus outline is deliberately loud. Text sits on backgrounds with enough contrast to be read in sunlight on a phone.

Nothing here depends on hovering, nothing moves on its own, and there is no video that starts by itself. The layout reflows down to a 320-pixel screen without sideways scrolling.

In the pool

The balls themselves are worth a word. The fillable ones can be set to any buoyancy between sinking and floating, which makes them usable by swimmers who cannot dive — fill one two thirds and the whole game moves to the surface.

Tell us what breaks

If a page is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier, write to us and say which page and what happened. We fix those before we add anything new.

Questions we have not covered: contact@watermelonball.pages.dev, or (239) 555-0164.
