Pool Football 9″
$17.99
Fillable watermelon balls, water skip balls and pool footballs — made by us, shipped from stock.
A 9-inch football built for wet hands. The textured skin keeps a grip that a leather ball loses the moment it is soaked, and it floats between throws instead of sinking.

Grip, buoyancy and tolerance for concrete. A regular football absorbs water, gets heavy and then gets slippery; ours is a sealed waterproof shell with a raised texture, so a wet hand still finds purchase and a spiral still happens.
It floats, which sounds obvious until you have spent a holiday diving for a ball that did not. Between throws it sits on the surface where you left it, and at the end of the afternoon you pick it up off the water rather than off the bottom.
The light-up version does the same job after sunset. On a lake dock or in a lit pool, a glowing football is the difference between the game ending at dusk and the game ending when somebody's parents call them in.
When I first saw this watermelon football, I assumed it was going to be filled with water because of the name and the way it is advertised for pools and water play. I was actually surprised to find out that you inflate it with air instead, and after using it, I think that is much better. Filling it with air keeps it lightweight, easier to throw, and much less messy than a water-filled ball would…
Light-up watermelon football great for little hands. In the box, you will receive the watermelon football, a small hand pump, and a white charging cord specially designed to charge this football by fitting in the same hole as the ball pump. The hand pump is sufficient to pump up the football since so little air and psi is needed to inflate it. It is also very easy to charge and doesn't take a lot…
This ended up being more fun than I expected. It’s basically a football designed for the pool, and it throws surprisingly well once you get the hang of it. The included pump made inflating it quick, and the material feels durable enough for regular summer use. The LED lights are a nice touch if you’re swimming in the evening. They’re bright enough to make the ball easy to track after sunset…
Not sure which one suits the people who will be using it? The deck notes on how the game works and pool games by age go through it properly.
